MAL CREW

Mal Crew is a group of visual artists (Rio, Otorongo, Somos, Fonso, La Negra, Karma, Skie, Ghore, Terms 73, Cuervo 21, sátiro) from Bogota, Colombia who decided one day in 2009 to join together to capture large format images on the walls of the city, combining different techniques, lettering, graffiti, writing, illustration, and lifestyles.

Always maintain a balance between the opposites or verses of everyday things, contrasts between the human and the animal, metaphors between the explicit and the evocative. Presenting the city from its context, pointing out and criticizing in a subtle way political and social issues both current and past, through images and details painted on a large scale, taking the eye of the unsuspecting viewer as an important participant in their environment and city.
